For a parking spot, you must have your driver’s license or permit to have first choice. You can sign up in the high school office on Monday, August 11th, at the following times:

Seniors-Noon to 12:30
Juniors-12:30 to 1pm
Sophomores-1 to 1:30pm
Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores without a driver’s license or permit-1:30 to 2pm
All freshmen with or without a permit-2 to 2:30pm

Wellington FFA members had a great week at the FFA state convention. They attended business sessions, went to leadership trainings, elected next years officer team, received Lone Star Degrees, went to concerts, dances, and had lots of fun Attendees included Jacy Lampe, Kenady Skelton, Allie Duncan, Ellie Thomas, Bailey Page, Aison Skelton, Hunter Hedrick, Anna Henard, and Audrey Bowen.

Congratulations to WHS sophomore, Anna Needham, the winner of the 2025 Teen Miss American Spirit pageant in Altus today. The pageant was sponsored by the Miss Jackson County Pageant. Joining Anna as a winner today was Wellington Elementary Sparkler and the 2025 Junior Miss American Spirit, Callahan Cantu. Congratulations to Anna and Callahan, two Wellington beauties! 🚀👑👏 👏 👑🚀

Soon-to-be WHS junior Carter Ouellette made an impressive showing today, finishing among the top 7 players in the Jordan Spieth Qualifier! His strong performance earned him a spot in the prestigious three-day tournament in Dallas, which features top talent from across the country and around the world. Carter is pictured here with his favorite pro golfer, Jordan Spieth — a moment he won’t soon forget. Way to represent the Skyrockets, Carter!
