The District 2-2A Tournament was held yesterday in Vernon and concluded today with final matches played in Wheeler. We have three district champion teams and four total teams advancing to regionals. An asterisk denotes a regional qualifier. Regionals will be held in Amarillo May 7th and 8th.

The Little Miss, Junior Miss and Teen Miss Wellington pageants were held today. A huge thanks to Angel's Subs and Sweets, Bad to the Bone Loaded Teas, Bawcom Supply and T-Berry's for the amazing gifts for our judges. Pageant practice schedule change!
Little Miss contestants will still practice today from 4:00-5:00 but Junior Miss will finish at 5:30 so those who would like to attend the showing at the Ritz are able to make it.
The auditorium will be open from 4-7pm on Friday, April 4th, and Saturday April 5th from 8am - 2pm.

Lady Rocket golf placed 2nd as a team as the district golf tournament concluded today in Canyon. The team is regional bound! Individually, Allie Duncan finished as the 2nd place silver medalist. Also on the team with Allie is Brynlee Proffitt, Maggie Tillman, Elli Ouellette, and Emma Flores. 🚀⛳️🥈
Skyrocket golf also placed second as a team advancing to regionals.
Carter Ouellette was the third place bronze individual medalist. Also on the team with Carter is Gunner Guy, Hunter Hedrick (not pictured), Carson Kane, Major Brown (not pictured), Travis Tillman (not pictured) and Jace Darrow. 🚀⛳️🥈

The first pageant practice is today. We are changing it up a bit this year so make sure and have your favorite contestant there TODAY starting with Little Miss at 4.

Wellington High School was chosen as an advancing play at the bi-district one act play competition held today in Stinnett at West Texas High School. Individually, Jaci Porter was selected as the best stage manager. Miguel Rincon was named honorable mention all-star cast and Jackson Jones was named all-star cast. Congratulations to Director Lana Tillman and her cast and crew! The area contest will be Thursday, April 10th in Sudan. 🚀🎭👏🚀
