Our Skyrockets incredible run came to an end tonight in the Regional Final, falling to district rival Panhandle by a final score of 39-52. Our boys battled hard and played three strong quarters, but a tough fourth quarter held the Rockets to just two points. This team showed heart, grit, and determination all season long, finishing with an outstanding 22 wins and bringing home Bi-District, Area, and Regional Semifinal Gold Balls along the way. A huge thanks to seniors Major Brown, Noah Cantu, PJ Garcia, and Armando Hinojosa for their leadership. We are incredibly proud of these players and coaches for the way they represented Wellington, Skyrocket Nation, and each other throughout this remarkable season. Thank you to our fans who packed the stands everywhere we went and made this playoff run unforgettable. Hold your heads high, Rockets. What a season. 🚀🏀
