🏃‍♀️ Lady Rocket Cross Country Update! 🚀 Our Lady Rockets competed in Wheeler today for their final tune-up before district, and they didn’t disappoint! 🌟 🥇 Taytum Kane brought home the gold medal, finishing 1st overall! 🏅 Sabrina Segovia medaled in 10th place. 🏅 Aleah Lewis earned a medal in 14th place. Also representing the team with grit and heart were Kobee Lewis, Angela Lewis, and Anna Henard. 💪 A big shoutout to Coach Travis Nicks for leading this hardworking group. Hispanic Heritage Month is a month-long celebration from September 15 to October 15 in the United States that honors the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Hollis, Oklahoma hosted a pageant on Saturday, September 27th and WHS Senior, Treylea Wiebe, won the title of 2025 Hispanic Heritage Reyna/Queen. She was sponsored by the Wellington Lions Club. Congratulations Treylea!

Taytum Kane medaled placing 4th in the Lubbock Invitational today. Lady Rockets will run in Wheeler on Wednesday.🏅🚀🏃🏽‍♀️
