Wellington FFA had students compete in the Wichita Falls certification and weld off held April 27. We sent 11 students and had 17 certifications between them.
Placings for the welding contest were just released. There were over 1,000 students and 41 schools at the contest.
Juan Vazquez won his division and received a belt buckle as the top welder for the 2F 7018 weld position!
Eric Garcia was 3rd place in his Division and won a cap in the 2F 7018 weld position.
Addy Mock placed 6th and won a cap in her Division of the 1F 7018 weld position.
