Skyrocket baseball played three tough games the last two days in the Floydada Tournament. We were able to pick up a 5 to 4 win over West Texas High yesterday. Freshman, Alex Orozco and Senior, TJ Salinas, were named to the all-tournament team. Congratulations! 🚀⚾️🚀

Wellington ISD will start school at 10AM Wednesday, February 19th 2025 due to extreme cold and possible icy conditions. Buses will run 2 hours late.
Game time in Amarillo has been moved up to 6pm. Because of that, all WISD schools will now dismiss at 2pm today. Stay warm, safe, and go Rockets! 🚀⛹🏼🏀🚀
Wellington ISD will have a delayed start at 10:00AM Tuesday, February 18th due to possible ice on the roadways.
Our Rockets will open the UIL state basketball playoffs on Tuesday, February 18th at 7pm at Amarillo High School versus the West Texas High Comanches. You can purchase your tickets at the gate with card or cash.

It was a very successful day in Amarillo at the VASE competition.
Damian Needham, Elli Ouellette, Charlee Bodine, Jacy Lampe, Jasmin Moreno, Rilynn Southerland and Jelly Garcia all advanced to area.
At the end of the day, the big announcement was made that five also advanced to state! Congratulations to Elli Ouellette, Damian Needham, Charlee Bodine, Jasmin Moreno and Rilynn Southerland for qualifying for state.
All the projects were amazing. A huge shoutout to WHS Art teacher, the incredible Marnie Kane. This is the biggest group Marnie will be taking to state April 25-26 in San Marcos. We are so proud of our VASE students! 🚀🖼️ 🎨🏅🚀
