Lady Rockets take down the Claude Lady Mustangs for the second time this year winning on the road by a final score of 30 to 23. Lady Rockets will open the Childress Tournament on Thursday with a game against 3A Spearman at 11:40am. 🚀🏀⛹🏽‍♀️🚀

Wellington FFA students attended the Greenbelt District Banquet tonight in Memphis! Heather Peters competed in the Greenbelt District talent contest. She placed 1st advancing her to the area contest at WTAMU in May. Congratulations Heather! 🚀🚀🚀

Wellington Elementary and Wellington Junior High are hosting the District UIL Academic Meet on their campuses tomorrow (Tuesday, December 6th) and Wednesday, December 7th. Because they are using all school facilities, all WISD campuses including the high school will dismiss at noon on both days. High school students will go to 1st through 4th periods on Tuesday, December 6th. On Wednesday, December 7th, WHS students will go to 5th through 8th periods. Good luck to all our elementary and junior high students competing this week! Go Sparklers and Firecrackers! 🚀
