The Wellington FFA Land Judging Team competed at the state land judging contest today held on the Tarleton State campus in Stephenville. The team placed 25th in the State and 3rd in the area. Barret Phillips placed 28th in the State and 3rd in the Area. Heather Peters, Trenton Wright, and Summer Owens also competed. They were coached by Drew Taylor. 🚀🚀🚀

2022 Little Miss Wellington Perrie Reyna, 2022 Junior Miss Wellington Ava Kate Inman and 2022 Teen Miss Wellington Maggie Tillman will pass on their crowns today starting at 2pm in the WHS Auditorium. Cost of admission is $5 per person for every school aged person on up. Proceeds will benefit scholarships for WHS students. Come out and support all the brave girls today!

The Wellington FFA cotton judging team competed at the state cotton judging contest at Texas Tech in Lubbock today. The team consisted of Hunter Stark, Jossaline Moreno, Kenady Skelton and Barret Phillips.

WHS Senior, Caleb Weinette, concluded a stellar golf career at the Region 1-AA Golf Tournament at Palo Duro Creek in Canyon today. Caleb was 10th individual out of 94 kids at regionals just narrowly missing advancing to state. He remains in the record books for being the first boy from WHS to advance to state as an individual his junior year. You have made us proud Caleb! 🚀⛳️🚀
