Mrs. Ashmore’s senior English classes participated in a March Madness Poetry Tournament during the months of March and April. Each student chose four poems that moved through the 64-poem brackets. Students voted for their favorite poems. The winner of the 2nd period tournament was a Gael Turnbull poem chosen by Dakota Marshall. The winning poem in the 6th period class was a Gwendolyn Brooks poem chosen by Bryant Tarver. Pictured in front of their March Madness brackets are members of the two English IV classes. Thanks for making learning fun Mrs. Ashmore! 🚀
