Wellington High School finished as the 4th place play in the entire state of Texas in Class 2A. This is the highest placing in school history and an improvement from Director Lana Tillman's first appearance at state two years ago. Individually, Senior Kaseten Welch was honorable mention all-star cast and sophomore Damiana Peters was all-star cast. Great job to the entire cast and crew of All My Sons and Director Lana Tillman. Thank you to our ten seniors for their leadership! We are officially one of the best four plays in Class 2A in the state of Texas! 🚀🎭🚀

WISD would like to give a huge thank you to Greenbelt Electric. They are the reason our new sound system is up and running at the elementary track meet today. The donation of their time and use of their equipment made this project possible. We could not have done it with out them and their willingness to serve and help our community. Thank you Greenbelt for helping the students and facilities of Wellington ISD today. Special thanks to Mark Lemons, Pepe Martinez, Steven Bodine, Ricky Orozco, Jeff Wadley, Justin Brewer, Corey Lawson, Henry Jaimes, and Todd Thomas. Thanks again Greenbelt for supporting our schools! 🚀

The cast and crew of All My Sons arrived at 6:50am this morning at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center for their 7:15am technical rehearsal. These kids and Mrs. Tillman have put in the work this school year and you may not realize just how early their mornings begin. Our performance will not be until around 4pm today with awards beginning sometime after 10pm. It will be a long day, but they are proudly representing Wellington as one of the top eight plays in the entire state of Texas in Class 2A! 🚀🎭🚀
