Varsity boys team of Juan Vazquez, Gumaro Rincon, Jordan Nation, and Travon Lewis finished in 4th place advancing to regionals.

We got word that Antonio Rodriguez placed 4th at the Wichita Falls Welding contest last week. There were 988 entries and he was submitted the 4th best weld in his division. Congratulations! 🚀


Skyrocket baseball will host Memphis today in district baseball action starting at 4:30pm.
The make-up game against Memphis will be played at noon in Memphis on Friday, April 15th.

WHS junior, Summer Owens, has officially advanced to state in tennis after finishing 2nd today in girls singles at the Region 1 tennis tournament in Amarillo. Summer played tough against the regional champion from Christoval who made it all the way to the state semi-finals last year at the state tournament.
Summer will represent WHS in the state tennis tournament on April 26 and 27th in San Antonio. Congratulations Summer! 🚀🎾🚀




The area track meet is tomorrow (Wednesday, April 13th) at West Texas High School in Stinnett. The 3200 will be run at 9:45 with field events starting at 10am. Running finals will begin at 2:30pm. Good luck Lady Rockets and Rockets! 🚀🏃🏾♂️🏃♀️🚀


Congratulations to WHS freshman, Harlee Gomez. Harlee won Saturday’s performance at the Region 1 finals and qualified for the State High School Rodeo Finals in June in Abilene. 🚀🐎 🚀
It was a tough day at the Region 1 tennis tournament in Amarillo today. WHS took 11 student athletes that had either won district or was the district runner-up. Only Summer Owens was able to win all 3 matches today and advance to the region 1 championship which will be played tomorrow for a chance to advance to the state tennis tournament. Good luck Summer!
