Our defending state champion Lady Rocket Cross Country team finished in 2nd place as a team today in Burkburnett only behind Holliday, the 3A defending state champion. Addy Mock was the first Lady Rocket across the finish line as the 5th place medalist. Behind her was Harlee Gomez in 19th, Alyssa Lewis in 22nd, Audrey Jones in 28th, Presley Kane in 31st, and Abby Garcia in 48th place. Leslie Orozco is also on the team, but didn’t run today. All three of our JV Lady Rockets medaled today. Our JV girls are Charlee Bodine, Angela Lewis, and Eryn Torrez. They are coached by Cade Brown and Skyler Warrick. Lady Rocket Cross Country opened the season in the Canyon 6 mile relay on Saturday. 34 teams competed in the 1A-3A Division and the Lady Rockets finished in 10th and 19th. This Thursday, the team will be running in Burkburnett. Go Lady Rockets! 🚀🏃♀️🚀
