We had a great first week at WHS! To end an amazing week, we want to celebrate the accomplishment of our Technology Director, Denise Marshall. Denise graduated this month with her bachelor's degree in applied arts and sciences in instructional technology and business ethics/leadership from the University of North Texas . We are so proud of you Denise!
To end our announcements everyday, we tell our students that after WHS comes college, military or trade school. Thanks for setting a good example Denise!

The Class of 2024 stepped into their role as leaders of the school today. Learning also has begun as teachers reviewed classroom rules and expectations. Art students got to use fire to burn their decorated tiles, seniors started their senior resumes and Algebra 1 students worked together to complete a task. It's going to be a great year! 🚀🚀🚀

The first day of school is Tuesday, August 15th, 2023. All students should report to the auditorium for an 8:30am meeting. This includes seniors who have a senior free 1st period. Schedules will be passed out at this time.
Our district dress code will be enforced starting the first day of school. No colored hair, no piercings other than earrings for girls, and boys must be cleanly shaven.
We are looking forward to another great school year! 🚀🚀🚀
