8th grade girls finish the night off beating Memphis 39-14
In girls basketball the 7th grade Firecrackers take down Memphis by a score of 33-4
Today, the Firecrackers take on Memphis. At home the 7th grade boys will start at 6:00 followed by the 8th grade. At Memphis the 7th grade girls will start at 5:00 followed by the 8th grade.
Tomorrow, we get out at noon. The talent show will begin at 9:30 in the auditorium.

The Wellington Opening and Closing Ceremonies team competed at the Area 1 FFA LDE competition today on the WTAMU campus in Canyon and placed 6th as a team. The team consisted of Maggie Tillman Elli Ouellette Allie Duncan Jace Darrow Ellie Thomas Jake Chandler Dahmian Salinas They are coached by Drew Taylor. Congratulations! 🚀
Down by 12 at one point in the game, our Lady Rockets stormed back taking down the state's #1 ranked team, the Nazareth Lady Swiftettes in overtime! Lady Rockets are the Abernathy Tournament Champions and now have a four game winning streak! We will host 3 games this upcoming Tuesday starting with the freshman game at 4pm.

Lady Rockets stun a big home crowd & take down the Abernathy Lady Lopes this morning in the semifinals of the Abernathy Tournament winning by a final score of 55 to 48. The Lady Rockets were led by a big performance by Charley "Cha Ching" Wilbur with 28 points. Lady Rockets will play for the tournament championship tomorrow at 2pm. Great job! 🚀⛹🏼♀️🏀🚀
Earlier today, our Lady Rockets opened the Abernathy Tournament with a big 64 to 23 win over Olton. We will play in the tournament semifinals at 9:30 Friday morning against the host Abernathy Lady Lopes. Go Lady Rockets! 🚀🏀⛹🏼♀️
