Lady Rocket Cross Country met their team goal by finishing in the top ten at the UIL Region 1 Cross Country Meet today in Lubbock. Individually, Addy Mock finished in 13th overall qualifying for the state cross country meet as the 8th place individual. Addy will next represent WHS and our Lady Rockets in Round Rock at the state meet on Saturday, November 4th. Others on the Lady Rocket team were Harlee Gomez, Sabrina Segovia, Presley Kane, Angela Lewis, Ayz'lin Menefield and Leslie Orozco. Alternates were Elli Ouellette, Ceighley Killian, and Addy English. The blacklight pep rally is today at 3:15 in the WHS auditorium. We will begin seating WISD students at 3pm and will not allow entry for the general public until all students have been seated.
